Bianca decides to declare her emancipation from her mother through the legal means. Erica, Bianca, and Frankie have an arguement at the courthouse, as Erica is convinced that Frankie is behind Bianca’s rebellion. Jack tries to reason with Bianca, and Frankie receives a mysterious phone call.

Bianca spends a night at Frankie’s and next day they decide to look for an apartment together, so that Bianca can get away from her overbearing mother. When Bianca tells Erica she is moving out, Erica threatens to call the police. In the meantime, Frankie goes to SOS looking to score some drugs.
As Bianca and Erica continue arguing, Frankie calls and asks for Bianca. She sounds scared and sad, and Bianca immediately rushes to her, disregarding her mother’s objections.
Vanessa Cortland barges in on the girls, and demands for her niece, Frankie, to leave Pine Valley. At Opal’s request, Frankie gets ready to leave the boarding house. She decides to skip town since noone wants her there. Bianca is convinced that Frankie is leaving because Bianca’s sexuality made her nervous, and frustrated wishes Frankie to have a nice life. At home, Bianca and Erica have another out over Bianca’s being gay.

Bianca leaves but later comes back because she wants to spend time with Frankie, and suggests she spend the night at Opal’s. Frankie decides to stick around in Pine Valley.
