I loved protective Maggie. I also loved the Frankie side that came out at the end. My two favorite parts were Maggie’s parting comments to Zarf/Zoe, smirk, and Kendall’s comments about Babe to Josh were hilarious.

Can someone write the AMC people and request that they never have Zarf/Zoe utter the words, “Bam” ever again in any context…

That ‘bam” comment from Zarfoe threw me off too…please never again.

And while I loved smirky Maggie, the whole putting down Zarf/Zoe character is not making hers look any better, and his/her’s more tortured. Where are the AMC people going with this and has anyone heard anything about Liz’s contract extension?

Well People we have the answer to how they plan to get rid of maggie, give her a personality make over. make her mean, manipulative, smal minded and jelous…compleetly not how she would be, especialy to a friend or enven a “not” friend of biancas, so that the fans all hate her and then zoe can swop in to be all loveing and nice to bianca and then all the fans will love her so that it’s a clean swap.

    new AMC created this season
MAGGIE = Bitch, mean, make the fans hate her
ZOE/ZARF = Lovely, oddball but nice, make the fans love her
BIANCA = will get sick of maggie being anoying, and therfor resonate towads zoe for comfort and wala we haveBAZ…doesnt sound as good as BAM

JUST GIVE US BACK THE OLD LOVEING MAGGIE!! GIVE US OUR BAM!!!

OK! WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE AMC’s WRITERS’ HEAD?! Maggie is changing, some Frankie traits coming out from her. The Good and Bad and Ugly? And where’s thenice and understanding Bianca heading? Grt rid of Zoe! The story of BAM is heading southwards. Hey, come on, there is no magic in AMC without BAM, and this Zarf thing is making the series unbearable to watch or follow for soap viewers and BAM fans!
It is giving us a BIG INDIGESTION!
COME BACK, COME HOME, BAM!!! We missed you!

To be fair maggie is obviously jealous so that’s why she’s being bitchy.Plus josh’s comments about fighting dirty for the one you love-that’s all she’s doing.
I hate the zarf and bianca thing they = BARF.AMC needs to let bianca be gay and be with a women not a guy and try and justify it by calling him Zoe and saying he’s a lesbian on the inside,if he actually was a post-op transexual OK-but he is still a guy at the moment. It isn’t right, are they even considering bringing maggie back permantly?

I must jump on the bandwagon of people wondering what the **** the writers at AMC are doing! I suppose that we shouldn’t expect Maggie to just crumble in front of Z/Z and confess to why she threw away the BAM relationship, but I certainly didn’t like the “Holier than thou” attitude at the end, or the “I know all about your disorder” comments. It just doesn’t seem like Maggie at all. If we don’t get at least one scene of Maggie breaking down to Bianca and giving some REASON for what she did, I may lose all faith in humanity.

My faith is seriously going down hill. I don’t get where they’re coming from with Maggie. The bitchy attitude and protective responses….yeah, sure….she’s jealous, but being so arragant and demeaning towards zarf/zoe ‘disorder’!! is just nowhere near what that character is all about. Just seems like an easy cop out for whatever new character arch they have for Bianca. They are doing the fans the show and especially BAM a great disjustice. Not really a show i wana be watching if that’s what the people involved are willing to do to their own show and fans.

I completely agree with all said above. I mean, a part of me digs the feisty Maggie (and I like her look too!), but I cringed when she started talking about how she knows all about Z’s “disorder”. I guess I kind’ve expected it, since it would be boring to have a show where everyone is more or less accepting of the transgender thing. (sarcasm) But to have it be Maggie is…well, it doesn’t bode well. Next week on AMC: Maggie insults Z’s trans-ness, Bianca overhears and rushes to Z’s aide, turning all of her anger on Maggie and demanding she just leave Pine Valley. Bleh.

While I totally agree that I’m seeing more of Frankie in Maggie, and I hate that the writers are making her all jealous and mean and stuff, I’ve gotta say I really liked the exchange between her and Zoe! I was thinking “Go Maggie!” the whole time.

Having Zorf utter BAM wasn’t by chance. It was insulting. I’m sure the writers thought it was funny but the jokes on them cause BAM! we’re out of here I mean done watching such poor writing that has been going on at AMC.

Don’t BAM us unless you mean it!

I was sooo excited when I first read that Liz was coming back to AMC as Maggie!! But then when I saw the clips saying that she had CHEATED on Bianca, I thought WTF?!! That makes no sense whatsoever. It took her FOREVER to get together with Bianca because she couldn’t bring herself to accept having a SEXUAL relationship with Bianca, the person that at one time she had said was the person she cared about most! I just think the writers started trashing the Maggie character before she even came back. I mean, breaking sweet Bianca’s heart! Having an affair?! With a WOMAN?! LEAVING Bianca & Miranda?! Come on. NONE of that crap is like the Maggie that I loved. All the signs I see point to the show exploring the Bianca/Zoe relationship, and they only brought Liz back to wrap up the BAM story. I have been disappointed so many times by the terrible writing on this show, that I don’t have any faith in TPTB to do anything OTHER than frustrate the BAM fans. I would rather be pleasantly surprised to discover I am wrong in my skepticism that we will ever get to see BAM on-screen, happy, and together as a couple/family. They seem so intent on making Zoe a sympathetic character and one that the fans will root for to win over Bianca, that I am even wondering if the audience will ever be given any insight into WHY Maggie did such a stupid, hurtful thing to Bianca and Mimo. Even I agree with Zarf! What was Maggie thinking? How could she DO that? As far as I’m concerned there IS no excuse. But what about that little convo Bianca had with Josh a while back about how “if Maggie walked through that door right now, I’d take her back”? She certainly has changed her mind! I stopped watching AMC when BAM left for Paris, and I will stop again when Liz/Maggie leaves, and if they keep up this crap, I won’t even stay that long. On a lighter note: “BARF”!!

I want to see Bianca with a black ghetto woman, I guess to make the fans wonder that’s all. Personally Bianca can do good without Maggie well from my point of view. A woman that’s funny and outgoining. After all the years I’ve been watching “All My Children” I myself been thinking what if the show add a little favor.
